Who we are
Easy Bondo is a food, drinks and live shopping delivery service for Bondo town, Siaya County, Kenya. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and Android app, and how we use it. We follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, phone number, delivery area, address notes and the items you order. You do not need an account to order.
- Email (optional) — only if you enter it, so we can send your payment receipt.
- Location (optional) — if you drop a pin at checkout, we use it to find you and show delivery progress on the Track page.
- Live Shopping — the shop name, shopping list and contact details you give us. Video and audio go directly between your phone and our shopper and are not recorded or stored by us.
- Reviews — the name, rating and comment you post are shown publicly on the app.
- On your device — your cart, theme choice and the IDs of your orders are kept in your browser so you can track them. You can clear them by clearing the app's data.
Payments
Payments by M-Pesa and card are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card number or M-Pesa PIN. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its reference. Paystack's own privacy policy applies to the payment step.
How we use your information
Only to prepare, deliver and support your orders and live shopping sessions, to confirm payments, and to improve our service. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Our partner restaurants and riders see the order details needed to prepare and deliver your order. Paystack processes payments. Our hosting provider stores data securely on our behalf. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, customer support and Kenyan tax and accounting rules, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Write to the developer contact email shown on our Google Play listing and include the phone number you ordered with. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, Kenya.
Children
Easy Bondo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
